Mark and team did a fantastic job on our bathroom and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
They completed a complete rip out, extended our bathroom by removing a cupboard next door and had the bathroom back to us looking even better than we expected within a week!
Mark is extremely knowledgeable and his input undoubtedly helped us achieve a far better bathroom than we would have with our own choices (little tweaks such as where the radiator would be best positioned and choosing a Q bath rather than P). Having the showroom on hand to actually see the choices made picking out kit 10x easier too.
He is well priced considering the skills and knowledge he has. Mark, Charlie and all other trades were polite, clean and efficient all the way through – top job and a genuine 5 star rating deserved.

Jane and Mark gave us tips and advice which helped us make decisions that are right for us. Everything was dealt with professionally and finished to a high standard. Although not the cheapest option you will find, quality products, guarantees for products and workmanship, as well as an all inclusive service, gives peace of mind and makes it well worthwhile. The main team of Rhys, Jake and Greg were professional, friendly, polite and very helpful, going above and beyond. Rhys, is outstanding in his customer service and interpersonal skills. Just had a new bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom installed by Mark and his team. Very pleased with the result. The work was done within the timescale and budget promised and rooms left clean and usable each day. They were quick to come and deal with a few minor niggles and charged a reasonable sum when we needed replacement of a shower pump which was not part of the job. Special mention for Rees whose customer care skills were second to none – even the cat loved him!! We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Customer care is excellent…
Mark took us through the whole process from the planning to it’s conclusion. We have the added complication of living in a Grade 2 listed building but he took all of that on board. Mark designed, project managed and oversaw all the work. His excellent team ripped out and then installed two beautiful bathrooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Mark even drove to Bristol when a different toilet pan was required! His customer care is excellent. Highly recommended

A really good experience from our first visit to Sally in the Taunton shop. Mark and Greg turned our faded avocado 80’s bathroom into something new and special. Advice on the plumbing and furniture, bespoke consideration of the space available, cheerful flexibility around timing accommodating our pandemic concerns, followed by excellent work, punctuality and respect for our time and property were all welcome, and unusual in this day and age in our experience. Mark went above and beyond when some difficulties were encountered and resolved everything promptly in a very fair manner. Top service, excellent workmanship, maybe above all these days… people of their word and good to have around your home.

Judging from previous reviews, our testimony is not unusual. Mark and his team came to gut and modernize an outdated pink bathroom in our newly bought 30 year-old bungalow. We were so impressed with the results that we invited them back to do a pampas green en-suite and a small cloakroom. Along the way they dealt with historic subterranean leaks, tile stripping, re-plastering, uneven floor levels and Covid lockdown with unfailing professionalism, good humour and a ‘can do’ approach. They always completed on time and left the place spotless. The bathroom products Mark uses are extremely well made and reasonably priced; you might well call them splendid and wonderful. I would recommend The Bathroom Shop in Taunton without hesitation to anyone who wants a new bathroom or a simple make-over. We have now run out of bathrooms to transform, but if we need an outdoor privy I shall certainly ask Mark back.

From start to finish I was impressed. Nothing was too much trouble. After they discovered a complete disaster under the previous flooring, with 4cm of height differentiation over a very small space, positive attitude and knowledgeable workmen meant that a way forward was quickly found and implemented. Still managing to finish on time, leaving my beautiful new bathroom spick and span- thrilled and so relieved. Thank you!

Our main bathroom was in need of modernising and at the same time we wanted to replace the bath with a large shower enclosure. The Bathroom Shop, run by Sally and Mark, was recommended to us by friends who were very pleased with work done on their property. We are glad we took their advice and asked Mark to design and project manage the entire process from beginning to end. The bathroom was completely gutted with all the original tiles removed from the walls and floor, the ceiling re-plastered and plumbing reconfigured in readiness for the installation of all new sanitary ware, a vanity unit and a shower enclosure. All of this work was carried out by Mark and his team in a most professional, considerate, polite and friendly manner; care was taken to minimise disruption and our house was left clean and tidy at the end of every day. Mark adhered to the original timescale and we knew what work was going to be done each day as the project progressed over the 12 days to completion. All the products Mark suggested for the bathroom are top quality and his and his team’s workmanship first class with a work ethic of wanting to ensure the customer is fully satisfied with all that has been done. The end result has brought a striking new dimension to a hitherto dated bathroom. We are thoroughly delighted with the transformation and highly recommend The Bathroom Shop to others who are considering a similar major upgrade.

We were badly let down by a previous company who were due to fit our bathroom pre Covid and then told us they couldn’t get us in until at least September!! Luckily Mark and Sally came to the rescue, fitting the bathroom to a very high standard. Not only that we had a problem with the shower pressure a few weeks later, and Mark came out very quickly to sort it!! Would highly recommend this fabulous local business. Oh and the gorgeous Darcy dog coming with Mark was an added bonus too.

Can’t recommend these guys enough. They have fitted an en-suite for me and undertaken several other small jobs. Always on time, excellent quality and very tidy – laying protective cloths from the door to the place of work, shoes off and they even hoover behind themselves!

The shop managers, Mark and Sally, were very kind and patient and spent so much time advising us on the new bathroom design, styling, as well as material selection. Their efforts ensured that we got the bathroom that we wanted, and all within our budget.
The work took just over a week to finish and it was very professionally done. All of the staff, including tilers and plumbers, were very polite and worked very hard with minimum disturbance to us. We were always kept informed of their progress and each day they let us know what was planned for the following day.

From the first meeting with Mark, we were offered friendly, knowledgeable and helpful advice. Mark listened to our design ideas and offered clear and constructive feedback that meant we designed a bathroom absolutely fitting to our family requirements. It was also brilliant to see our design through the virtual equipment which really helped us to be sure we’d made all the right decisions.
From the first to the last day of installation, Mark and his team worked so hard. It was clear that each member of the team were highly skilled and perfectionists (especially Mark)
I was initially concerned about how much of an upheaval having a bathroom redone with two small children would be. Very quickly, I realised this wouldn’t be an issue!
